Manufacturer of precision parts and gap-management solutions, Shimco, will join other Ontario aerospace manufacturers at the 52nd edition of the Paris Air Show taking place at the Le Bourget Parc des Expositions from 19th to 25th June 2017. The Ontario Government, in partnership with the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC), is organising the province’s presence at the Paris Air Show in the Ontario Pavilion located in hall 3, booth C60.

Representing Shimco on stand will be Peter Voss, President and CEO, and Jason Boland, Sales Manager. Voss is pleased to be a returning exhibitor at one of the largest worldwide events dedicated to the aviation and aerospace industry, to showcase Shimco’s precision parts, laminated, edgebonded and tapered shims & spacers, as well as to discuss the company’s expansion plans in 2018 that will add processing capabilities and a research & development 'Centre of Excellence'.

“The Paris Air Show has proven to be extremely valuable in connecting with leading aerospace, defence and space OEMs, and Tier 1 customers and suppliers from around the world,” said Voss. “Shimco has evolved over the last six years from a traditional manufacturer to a company driven by technology and innovation, resulting in a significant number of new contracts and partnerships with leading aerospace companies that will be in attendance at this event. We look forward to meeting with current and new customers during the show and at the numerous networking events.”
