Lockheed Martin supports manned fire of AJAX turret
  The Lockheed Martin UK turret, developed with General Dynamics Land Systems - UK for the British Army’s AJAX vehicle, has successfully completed initial manned live fire. The milestone event took place last month at a trial in west Wales. The formal qualification trials are testing the vehicle’s CTAI 40mm (CT40) cannon and the 7.62mm chain gun.

According to General Micro Systems (GMS), the US Army will deploy powerful rugged server and display systems from GMS to run the Multifunction Video Display (MVD) software within Type II Medium Mine Protection Vehicles (MMPV). Composed of four different electronic components and estimated at $88m over three years, the prime contract will provide the Army with a dense, ultra small, rugged server using the same high performing Intel Xeon E5 processors that Apple is shipping in its latest 'Pro' products.

  A new matting system called MaxiTrack will be displayed at DSEI by Ground-Guards, who are exhibiting at this show for the first time. Claimed to be the world’s most heavy duty man-handleable matting system, the manufacturers guarantee that MaxiTrack is unbreakable by vehicles up to 130 tonnes.
