Superbikes get super power

The power division of Speedy Services has extended its contract with power distribution business ide Systems to provide power distribution equipment and cabling to the British Superbike (BSB) Championships. The contract, which has been extended for three years, means that ide Systems’ power distribution equipment and staff will be used to maintain power to all eleven UK rounds of Britain’s premier superbike championship.

Generator connection point mitigates power failure

A new generator connection point (GCP) has been launched by power distribution specialist ide Systems, to mitigate down-time caused by mains power failures. The product, suitable for office buildings, healthcare facilities and retail blocks, allows backup generators to be quickly and easily connected in the event of an unforeseen electrical failure.
