  In conjunction with its in-country partner PT Kadomas Aviasindo, Inzpire has announced that it will provide its GECO Air tablet-based mission system to Indonesia’s Air Force - the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU). GECO Air will deliver enhanced situational awareness and safety benefits across a fleet of five fixed wing aircraft types.

Demonstration of anti-submarine warefare mission at DSEI
At this year's Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI), defence electronics company, Elbit Systems demonstrated live the Seagull, Elbit Systems’ multi-mission Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) system. A remotely operated Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) mission, via Satellite Communication (SATCOM), the Seagull platform, sailing in the Haifa Bay, Israel, performed the operational ASW mission using control consoles situated some 3,515km away.

Hatteland Display has developed the touch-screen Series X 55in. Ultra High Definition Tactical Table to act as a central focus on the bridge of naval vessels for navigational and operational decision making based on multi-data display from diverse sources and sensors on board.

DSEI 2017: Radar tracking software guides unmanned boats

Radar tracking and fusion software is being supplied by Cambridge Pixel to ASV Global (ASV) to enhance situational awareness on ASV's range of unmanned boats. ASV supplies unmanned and autonomous surface vessels for commercial, military and security missions. Its ASView control system supports autonomous and remote control of the vessels and has been deployed on over 80 unmanned new build and retrofitted vessels.

DSEI 2017: X-Band surface mount circulators boast low insertion loss
Following initial market adoption and installation Smiths Interconnect is exhibiting its innovative TRAK X-Band Surface Mount (SMT) Circulators at DSEI in London. These units are low-cost, true pick-and-place compatible (tape-and-reel) components with standard solder reflow profiles. They are designed to replace “drop-in” and microstrip style circulators.
