During SATELLITE 2017, HUBER+SUHNER will showcase the breadth of its latest Interconnect and Cable technologies. The fair is taking place 6th-9th March in the Washington Convention Centre, Washington DC. On display will be the latest in ground test and space flight hardware addressing both the traditional space market as well as the needs of the evolving 'NewSpace' segment.

“Connectivity is a critical requirement in demanding environments, especially space,” said B.J. Lyman, Aerospace and Defense Market Manager at HUBER+SUHNER. “When pushing the limits of next-gen high-capacity Digital Transparent Payloads (DTP) and/or Digital Regenerative Payloads (DRP), HUBER+SUHNER high-density interconnect systems offer size, weight, service, and integration advantages as compared with discrete interconnect solutions. Our robust end-to-end interconnect products integrate SMPM interface components offing a high degree of reliability and flight heritage.”

HUBER+SUHNER is exhibiting its high-capacity 14-Channel Multi-Coax Interconnect solutions for both Chassis and SMT PCB Mount options at the exhibition. These are modular and high-density interconnects which utilise industry standard SMPM interfaces combined with flight-proven microbend cable providing solderless bend to the end technology. All materials are MIL qualified and flight approved.

Also on display will be High-Performance Sucoflex 200 and 300 series cable assemblies offering up to 40GHz performance and providing phase versus temperature stability combined with low loss in a mechanically robust lightweight construction. HUBER+SUHNER will also showcase its latest Minibend cable product extensions, including the Microbend-L Cable – an enhanced low-loss version of microbend as well as their phase invariant cable product family including Sucoform 86 CT (Conformable), Minibend CTR (Flexible), and EZ 85 CT (Semi-Rigid) products; specifically developed for phase critical applications requiring precision electrical lengths.

Representatives from HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab – which was designated as the Corporate Space Flight Centre of Excellence in 2015 – will be on-site at Satellite 2017 to meet customers and discuss new product developments as well as the planned launch of 'Power Sub-Miniature' (PSM) high power connectors directly applicable to Space customers. Visit HUBER+SUHNER at booth 945 at Satellite 2017.
