Element Materials Technology’s St. Paul laboratory has gained approval to conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) from three leading Aerospace Primes: GE Aerospace, Lockheed Martin and UTC Aerospace Systems.

These approvals mean that Element St. Paul is now certified to conduct a comprehensive range of NDT testing for these three Aerospace Primes and their supply chain partners. The approvals include testing for radiography, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle.

Rick Sluiters, Element’s Executive Vice President, Aerospace, said: “We are extremely proud to receive NDT approval from these three key aerospace clients. These approvals will enable our clients and manufacturers across their supply chains to benefit from Element’s extensive expertise in this sector.

These certifications add to the laboratory’s already impressive list of approvals, which include the highly demanding accreditation from Nadcap, demonstrating our commitment to deliver ‘The Certainty of Element’ to Aerospace Primes and all of their supply chain partners.’’

Element St. Paul offers a full suite of materials testing services, including mechanical, metallurgical, advanced materials, welding engineering, failure analysis and chemical analysis.
